We made it out to the blueberry patch again this year.
Our group takes up a whole row. OK, not really. The lady in the hat on the end wasn't with us. :)
It's great having so much help. It doesn't take very long to have enough berries with this many pickers.
We have tall ones for the tops of the bushes...
...and short ones for the bottoms. Uh-oh, this picker isn't looking so good.
Even when I asked her to smile, she didn't look quite right. She'd said her stomach was hurting. A few minutes later, she was sick. Poor thing. She didn't get to pick for very long.
This one wore her blueberry bonnet, but didn't do much picking. :)
We never fail to find a few bugs. The boys are always on the lookout. We came home with about 24 pounds of berries to freeze. Some of them didn't make it to the freezer. We indulged in a couple of blueberry pies that were heartily enjoyed!

So sad that Milly got sick, but she sure looks cute in her hat anyway. What great summertime photos, and memories.
