Well, we've been camping the last couple of days. As much as I enjoy being on the computer and keeping up with everyone, it was kind of nice to have a couple days surrounded by nature and forgetting that such a thing as a computer exists. But, now we're back and I brought back lots of fun camping pictures to share. For today, I just posted some pictures of our chickens. The Oldlands offered to let us go in with them on some chickens to raise and butcher and freeze for the winter. It was a bit of an experiment and I think it went well. Of course, we didn't have to raise them. They did all of the work. We really only paid for our part, so we'll see if they thought it was a success. They brought us our 29 frozen chickens in three coolers last Sunday. So here's the boys after they transplanted them to our freezer. Good stuff. :) (Oh, and do notice our lovely pile of frozen green beans from the Oldland garden too!)Some good eating this winter!!

Nothin' better ! You will have great meals out of that.

I agree, Julie. Sometimes a technology break is a wonderful thing. Good for you.
