Chronologically, the next pictures are Benjamin's birthday. But the birthday pictures are really pretty overwhelming. I thought I'd take a break and post some odds and ends, then I'll post Ben's birthday and we'll be done with birthdays until the end of June. :)
There's a bit of construction going on at my house. We had an unfinished storage/work room in our basement that is now being finished to add more finished space to the house. I thought I'd show a couple of pictures of the progress. This door and window are completely new. There was a solid concrete block wall here before. They look out to the backyard.

This is the other end of the room. It is framed up to have a closet that will go across the entire length of the room there at the back. We plan to make this a bedroom for the boys and are looking forward to the extra space.
The boys, especially William, are intrigued by the practice of burning leaves and other things with the sun's rays, magnified with the magnifying glass. He made this leaf-person recently.
The boys keep finding Dandelions that have grown together and become doubles. A marvel. :)
We recently moved Ben's rope ladder to the plum tree. It's being enjoyed there very much.
It's pretty tricky hanging onto that wobbly thing! She's working hard at it.
