MOTHER'S DAY SHISH-KABOBS

Our easy, fun, mom-doesn't-really-have-to-cook dinner for Mother's Day was shish-kabobs on the grill. We haven't really done them before with meat and vegetables and flavoring pastes to make a whole meal. It turned out to be marvelous. The kids enjoyed the opportunity to do it themselves.

Even Amelia could easily skewer up some good things.
Red onion, zucchini, red pepper, mushrooms, fresh pineapple and three meat choices made for a nice variety.
They don't just look good, they really WERE good! I had a very blessed Mother's day!

Those look really good, Julie. What kind of meat did you use? I haven't made those in a LONG time. But, your post makes me want to make them again! They are fun to do. ;)

Lora,
We used chicken breast and sirloin tips(beef) cut in chunks a little larger than the vegies and some kielbasa. That's what I had in my freezer, so that's what we did. If I had had shrimp, I definitely would have done some of that! :-)
